What more can I say that hasn't already been said. Great extra features and commentary. Amazing price so I simply had to get this one.
This is a great movie and it's fantastic on blu-ray, but I was led to believe it had 2 discs by the description on Amazon. This is false. It has only 1 disc.
So one day I'm bored and I think of the movie but I can't remember what it was called. This movie was incredible. At any rate, I didn't purchase it, but looked at it just about every time I went into that store. I read the back of the cover, only to find a quote from the movie. A while back I remember seeing a movie called Dark City at one of bigger stores (like Kmart or something). They could have done more with the special features I guess, but what you get is still great. All I can say is: I put THIS movie off. I've put off watching this, and last night, I finally did.
The movie is the freak child of film noir, mystery, scifi, and many more. This one was suggested to me. It was a slightly older movie, and I had never heard of it, but the cover looked cool. It was visually incredible, and the effects they pulled off in this movie (given that it came out in the late 90's) were jaw dropping. I just got my blu ray player so I was shopping on Amazon for some new movies. I don't know why I was so interested in a movie I knew nothing about, but I went for it. The story is great, and I would recommend it to anyone who has patience with movies (you'll be very confused at the beginning). If you've never seen this movie, or you haven't seen the directors cut, you need to see this movie and get this on blu ray or dvd now.
Look this movie is a sci-fi cult classic.it's just that, plain and simple. Now we all now Keifer Sutherland is not that great of an actor as you can tell by 24. But in this movie, just like The Lost Boys, he finds the character that fits his personality.If you gave that crappy movie Avatar a chance, then this one deserves your complete attention.*thank you-by a real avid movie fan
May have been leading edge in its time but dated by today's standards. Kiefer Sutherland badly cast. Interesting to see Jennifer Connelly at a young age.
